Restorative Reset for Therapists at True North Yoga

Saturday, April 25, 2026 ● 3:00 - 6:00pm
Houston, TX

A group of four diverse people sitting together indoors in a casual setting, with one woman speaking and others listening.

Therapists spend their days holding what other people can’t hold alone.

They track nervous systems in real time and help clients stay present through grief, fear, rupture, and recovery. They hold steady all day, and then go home and try to be a partner, a parent, a friend.

And all too often, no one is holding them.

What You Can Expect

This is an intimate, high-touch afternoon where Houston-area therapists can connect and be supported in their own community. Because therapists deserve support that doesn’t require performing, proving, or pushing through.

Designed for the professionals who spend their days supporting others, this event offers space for therapists to reconnect with themselves and each other through meaningful conversation, restorative yoga, and community care.

  • Join us for networking and interactive sponsor experiences and participate in a financial wellness activity with Alan B. Pruitt, CPA of The Therapists CPA.

  • The time we’ve set aside for the supportive yoga class specifically designed for therapists and helpers.

  • Reflection on the event, shared experiences, and takeaways.

GUEST SPEAKER:

Alan B. Pruitt, CPA

During the first hour of the event, you’ll hear from Alan, a financial wellness expert who works specifically with therapists. His short teaching session introduces a powerful idea: financial wellness is essential to therapist wellness and long-term sustainability in this field.

He’ll begin with a brief grounding conversation about why the financial side of your work matters just as much as the clinical side. Then he’ll guide you through a reflective exercise with journaling prompts designed to help you imagine what your life and practice could look like with the financial stability you deserve.

You’ll leave this portion of the session with something many therapists rarely give themselves time to create: a clear vision of the future you’re working toward and a personal blueprint for what financial wellness could look like in your career.

Restoration + community + financial wellness = therapist sustainability.
